This album and the related tracks included in this CD celebration are the only remaining documents of this twig of British rock history. If, as Phil Miller suggests ‘Delivery was a learning band’, then the recordings here offer but a glimpse of their lessons and collected experiences. It’s worth noting that the BBC wiped all 6 broadcast masters and that an old suitcase containing the group’s reels has long since been discarded. We are nearly 30 years after the fact. Everything has changed, but still Deliveries unique blend of blues, jazz and rock remains fertile for your discovery. - Mike King.
