March was recorded in March '72 shortly after David McRae replaced David Sinclair. The band had been playing continuous live sets with a mixture of improvisation and arranged pieces. March captures both these elements perfectly and includes such greats as Phil Miller's 'Part of the Dance', a typical Robert Wyatt scat on 'Instant Pussy' and a fantastic cover of Kevin Ayres' 'No 'alf Measures'.
